Extreme metal band Foreshadow wins best song award

Extreme metal band Foreshadow have been presented with the Best Metal/Hardcore Song Award for June 2015 by The Akademia Music Awards (website) for their track "War Without End".

Foreshadow had this to say about the win:

"We are excited to win another award for a track from our recent release "The Stranger End of Death."
" War Without End" is one of our favorite tracks to play live."
And a quote from The Akademia Music Awards committee:
" 'War Without End' showcases some of the most intense instrumental chops we've ever heard - like flawless 200BPM double-bass drum rolls - creating a masterpiece that metalheads will not want to miss."

"War Without End" appears on Foreshadow's latest release "The Stranger End of Death" EP, available now through Amazon.

This past February Foreshadow entered Red Room Recorders studio in Tampa, Florida (U.S.) to begin tracking for their upcoming album "Ashes of Forgotten Gods". The engineering on the album is being handled by Chris Brickman who has previously worked on albums for Obituary and Lacuna Coil.
A collection of short videos and photos from the recording session can be seen here, the album is tentatively scheduled for a late 2015 release at this time.

Forming in 2008 & hailing from Tampa, Florida (U.S.) Foreshadow have been blending multiple extreme metal genres to create their own, unique style of death metal, black metal and old school thrash metal.
