Fractured Spine - Memoirs Of A Shattered Mind review

Fractured Spine. In the beginning they played instrumentals and ballads, but it fast it became heavier. Now they play death/doom metal. They hail from Finland and the line-up is Antti who takes care of all the instruments and Timo, both do vocals. In 2013 they released their debut full length Songs of Slumber and now there is there second one called Memoirs of a Shattered Mind.

Memoirs of a Shattered Mind contains eight tracks with an total length of 33 minutes. Sometimes it is real heavy like in Dead To Me, but there also the slower parts of this release. The combination of those slower parts together with the heavier parts is nicely done. It all has an doomy, creepy, dark sound over it, which will make you feel scared sometimes. If music does that to you, then there is real emotion in it, then the music is very good.

Death/doom is your thing? Go listen this album, it is very good and you'll love it!
